Spaces for Fun and Adventure

The park is open year-round with an onsite manager. We are 10 miles from Virginia City and Nevada City. Yellowstone National Park, (the west entrance) is 90 miles from the campground and we are 60 miles from Lewis and Clark Caverns. There is fishing on the Ruby and Madison rivers and we are just minutes from four major trout streams and Ruby reservoirs loaded with Rainbows and Browns. There are miles of off-road trails accessible from the campground and ATV’s and Horseback Riding rentals are nearby. We welcome large groups, hunters and snowmobilers.

Dive into Exciting Activities

Pan for gold, garnets and sapphires in our backyard or nearby Nevada City. Come to the office and collect all different sizes of rocks to make your individual snake. Hike, bike and go horseback riding to explore the area and magical beauty of Ruby Valley. ATV trail access to public lands is close by. Some of the best hunting in Montana is here! There is no fishing, swimming or water contact allowed in the park pond.

I came through and stayed one night while on a bike tour. I was tired and hungry and even a bit lonely. I met several really nice people at the campground and felt right at home. The store had great snacks and great prices, and the folks running the campground could not have been any nicer. My site was level and I slept great. I've very fond memories from this campground!

The views in Ruby Valley are gorgeous, the RV park is nice, clean and has plenty of room.



The managers, David and Dalles are the sweetest couple and were super helpful.

They have a well stocked convenience store as well.

Beautiful location, gracious hosts. Older but wonderfully maintained. Close to the cutest little towns! We have enjoyed a couple of months here and highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit SW Montana. Great for large rigs. We parked here in a 40 ft bumper pull and had way more than enough room!
